Move by Biden administration could devastate intellectual property rights and life sciences research

New Jersey has long been a cradle of American innovation. Known globally as the “medicine chest of the world,” it is home to more biotechnology, medical device, biopharmaceutical and diagnostics companies than nearly anywhere else. It also claims the nation’s highest concentration of scientists and engineers per square mile as well as some of its finest research universities. We also boast one of the most highly trained, highly skilled labor forces anywhere, with intricate high-tech manufacturing around the state, spanning many industries. These assets contribute to a world-class innovation ecosystem that drives not only the life sciences, but also cutting-edge advances in the state’s information technology, telecommunications and budding artificial intelligence (AI) sectors as well.
