HINJ’s Statement Regarding the U.S. Supreme Court’s Ruling on the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act

New Brunswick, NJ, June 28, 2012 ― The HealthCare Institute of New Jersey (HINJ) has issued the following statement regarding the ruling today by the Supreme Court of the United States pertaining to the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act of 2010.

HINJ respects the Supreme Court’s decision and will work with Congress and the Administration in a constructive and bipartisan manner as they assess and address the ruling’s impact on the nation’s current and future healthcare policies.

As we move forward, HINJ’s efforts will be grounded in the core principles that have long guided its advocacy efforts:  providing patients with access to high-quality medicines, medical technologies and therapies, and advancing medical innovation while safeguarding New Jersey’s workforce and economy.
