Membership Application

Thank you for your interest in joining HINJ!

Membership is open to any business that is primarily engaged in the development, manufacturing or marketing of medical and diagnostic devices; research-based pharmaceutical, biological prescription, and over-the-counter drugs; and health care-related consumer products. 

Please complete and submit this application.  Upon review and approval, you will be sent an invoice for your annual dues.  Please note that membership is effective upon receipt of your dues in full.

Membership Categories:

SUSTAINING (FULL) MEMBER
Our highest level of membership. Benefits include seats on the HINJ Board of Trustees, Steering Committee (HINJ strategy and state affairs) and Federal Legislative Affairs Committee, industry advocacy and alliance development, participation in special events and regular State and Federal policy updates and news.  Annual dues, based on U.S. sales, start at $50,000.

ASSOCIATE MEMBER
Open to companies with less than $1 billion in annual U.S. sales. Benefits include seats on the HINJ  Steering Committee (HINJ strategy and state affairs) and Federal Legislative Affairs Committee, industry advocacy and alliance development, invitation to select special events and regular State and Federal policy updates and news.  Annual dues, based on U.S. sales, start at $15,000.

LIMITED MEMBER
Companies interested solely in state affairs or federal affairs can choose to join only the HINJ Steering Committee (HINJ strategy and state affairs) and/or Federal Legislative Affairs Committee.  Benefits include industry advocacy and alliance development for the applicable committee and regular State and Federal policy updates and news.  Annual dues for each committee are $12,500.

EMERGING COMPANY
For early-stage companies in the research phase.  Benefits include HINJ affiliation, industry advocacy and regular State and Federal policy updates and news.  Annual dues are $1,000.

HINJ membership is available only to companies and organizations that promote life sciences research and the clinical and economic value of innovation, support the growth and development of the life sciences industry and ecosystem, and whose public policy positions and business practices are generally consistent with HINJ’s reputation and its policies and principles in support of patient access, innovation and economic development.

HINJ reserves the right to review applications for membership to confirm that the applicant meets the criteria for membership per HINJ’s By-laws. HINJ may, in its sole discretion, reject an application for membership, terminate membership at any time or elect not to renew a membership.
