By Robert J. Hugin, Chair of the HealthCare Institute of New Jersey
Bridgewater, NJ, April 13, 2010 — “The HealthCare Institute of New Jersey (HINJ) family is profoundly saddened by this weekend’s news of Bob Franks’ untimely death. We extend our deepest condolences to Bob’s family and friends during this difficult time.
“Bob was a man of remarkable talents. He dedicated those talents to a distinguished career in public service, and most recently to his work as President and Chief Executive Officer of the HealthCare Institute of New Jersey. His extraordinary work ethic and integrity inspired all who worked with him. Bob cared deeply about people, and his effectiveness as a leader and advocate stemmed from his generous nature and decency.
“Beyond his great accomplishments at HINJ and in public service, Bob will be most remembered for his affability, his personal warmth, his sense of humor and his wise counsel. Bob was a friend to all of us in the life sciences community, and we mourn his passing.”
