New Brunswick, NJ, March 28, 2016 ― Join the HealthCare Institute of New Jersey (HINJ), the Medical Society of New Jersey (MSNJ), the New Jersey Association of Health Plans (NJAHP) and the New Jersey Hospital Association (NJHA) on Thursday, April 21 for their “New Jersey Healthcare Stakeholders Summit,” a collaborative discussion on the Affordable Care Act and the challenges and opportunities in today’s healthcare sector.
The summit will be held at the New Jersey Hospital Association Conference and Event Center at 760 Alexander Road in Princeton, NJ (directions) from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
The first-of-its-kind event will feature a keynote presentation by Pharmaceutical Research and Manufacturers of America (PhRMA) President and Chief Executive Officer Stephen J. Ubl.
Tom Hubbard, Vice President of Policy Research for the Network for Excellence in Health Innovation (NEHI), also will keynote, speaking on “The ACA and Healthcare Stakeholders: The New Model of Care.”
In addition, three multi-disciplinary panels will be presented:
- How Has the ACA Impacted Your World? – Featuring CEOs and leaders from the hospital, life sciences, physician and provider communities
- Wellness and Prevention: Saving Lives While Saving Money – Featuring representatives from Accountable Care Organizations (ACOs) and other healthcare stakeholders
- Patient-Centered Medical Care: How Do We Achieve This Together? – Featuring MSNJ CEO Larry Downs, HINJ President and CEO Dean Paranicas, NJHA President and CEO Elizabeth Ryan and NJAHP President Wardell Sanders
CME and CLE credits will be provided. This program has been approved by the Board on Continuing Legal Education of the Supreme Court of New Jersey for 4.25 hours of total CLE credit. Of these, 0 qualify as hours of credit for ethics/professionalism, and 0 qualify as hours of credit toward certification in civil trial law, criminal trial law, workers’ compensation law and/or matrimonial law.
