HINJ Launches New Website

New Brunswick, NJ, April 11, 2013 — As part of the HealthCare Institute of New Jersey’s (HINJ) strategic plan to build a dynamic communications capability that delivers relevant, robust and timely information to internal and external stakeholders, HINJ has launched its new website (www.hinj.org).

HINJ’s new site is organized into five topical tabs:  About HINJ, Life Sciences and New Jersey, Policy, Corporate Social Responsibility and News.

In addition, the site hosts a members-only Members Portal.  Here, members of the HINJ Board of Trustees, Steering Committee and Federal Legislative Affairs Committee (FLAC) will have easy access to password-protected information, including meeting materials, member lists, a HINJ events calendar and other member resources, which will continue to expand.

HINJ also recently launched a new website for its affiliate, New Jersey Life Sciences Vendors Alliance (NJLSVA).  To visit NJLSVA’s new website, click to www.njlifesciencevendoralliance.org.

Founded in 2005, NJLSVA is a coalition of businesses, individuals and academia who provide goods and services to New Jersey’s life sciences companies.  It was founded to educate suppliers on trends in industry procurement and public policy that affect the life sciences industry, and, therefore, them as well.

If you have questions or suggestions about HINJ’s new website, which will continue to expand with new content, please contact Doug Berger, HINJ Communications Director, at berger@hinj.org or 732-729-9619, ext. 344.

Founded in 1997, the HealthCare Institute of New Jersey (HINJ) serves as the voice for the state’s life sciences industry.  HINJ seeks to expand patient access to the most innovative biopharmaceuticals and medical devices and promote awareness of the industry’s impact on New Jersey’s quality of life and economic well-being.  In 2010, HINJ member companies’ economic impact in the state exceeded $24 billion, according to HINJ’s 2011 Economic Impact Report.  To learn more, please visit HINJ at www.hinj.org or follow us via Twitter @ HINJ_ORG, Facebook @ HealthCareInstituteofNewJersey or YouTube @HINJNJ.
