HINJ Hosts Lt. Governor and Cabinet Members for Life Sciences Roundtable

 New Brunswick, NJ, June 13, 2014 — On June 13, the HealthCare Institute of New Jersey (HINJ) hosted a roundtable discussion featuring New Jersey Lt. Governor Kim Guadagno on the state of the life sciences and prospects for industry growth in the Garden State as part of the HINJ Board of Trustees meeting.

Joining Lt. Governor Guadagno were State Treasurer Andrew P. Sidamon-Eristoff, Labor Commissioner Hal Wirths, New Jersey Economic Development Authority Chief Executive Officer Michele Brown and representatives from the Business Action Center and Choose New Jersey.

Among the topics discussed were the value of innovation, the importance of having a strong innovation ecosystem and infrastructure to support clinical trials and New Jersey’s overall business climate.
