September 21, 2026 ― HealthCare Institute of New Jersey CEO Chrissy Buteas weighed in on the recent announcement by the White House which will lower Medicaid drug prices – and do it through voluntary deals with drugmakers, not mandates.
Buteas, whose group represents some of the state’s largest life sciences companies, said those companies are committed to lowering costs for patients across America, reflected in the voluntary agreements in the (what is named) GENEROUS drug pricing program.
