Trenton, May 12, 2025 ― HINJ submitted comments to the Department of Commerce as per the Federal Register’s Notice of Request for Public Comments on Section 232 National Security Investigation of Imports of Pharmaceuticals and Pharmaceutical Ingredients. These comments were filed in opposition to potential tariffs on pharmaceutical products and were broadly written to convey the complexities of our industry’s R&D, manufacturing and supply chains and our impact on global health and America’s innovation economy.
