HINJ Statement on the Passing of The Honorable Frank R. Lautenberg

New Brunswick, NJ, June 3, 2013 ― The HealthCare Institute of New Jersey (HINJ) has released the following statement on the passing this morning of U.S. Senator Frank R. Lautenberg.

“Senator Lautenberg was one of our nation’s strongest champions of patients, spending his long legislative career protecting their access to the treatments, medicines, devices and technologies they need.  His tenacious advocacy on behalf of patients has doubtless improved untold numbers of lives — in New Jersey and around the globe — who will remain indebted to him for his tireless work.  HINJ mourns his passing.”
