HINJ to Host ‘Chronic Disease Management’ Policy Forum on May 23

New Brunswick, NJ, April 8, 2013— The HealthCare Institute of New Jersey (HINJ) will host a health policy forum titled “Chronic Disease Management:  Improving Outcomes & Bending the Cost Curve” on Thursday, May 23 at Forsgate Country Club in Monroe Township.

HINJ invites you to join leaders of New Jersey’s healthcare community for a discussion about how better management of chronic disease can improve patient outcomes and lower costs.  Speakers will include:

  • Cathleen Bennett, New Jersey Department of Health, Director of Policy and Strategic Planning.
  • Senator Joseph Vitale, Chairman, New Jersey Senate Health Committee
  • Lawrence L. Bostian, Vice President, Development, National Consumers League, who will represent the League’s Script Your Future adherence campaign
  • Hon. David Knowlton, CEO, New Jersey Health Care Quality Institute
  • Sarah McLallen, Vice President, New Jersey Association of Health Plans
  • Dean J. Paranicas, President and Chief Executive Officer, HINJ

Registration will open at 8:30.  The program will start at 9:00 a.m. and conclude at 11:30 a.m.
