2019 STEM Leadership Award

New Jersey STEM Pathways Network

HINJ Board of Trustees Chair Alex Kelly, who is executive vice president, Corporate Affairs, Allergan, presented the 2019 Award for Excellence in STEM Education to the New Jersey STEM Pathways Network at its quarterly meeting on Sept. 26. HINJ President and CEO Dean J. Paranicas made opening remarks and introduced Mr. Kelly.

Accepting for the Network were Kim Case, the Network’s managing partner and executive director of the Research & Development Council of New Jersey, and Elaine Zundle, a member of the Network’s Steering Committee and research director at Rutgers University’s Center for Woman and Work.

Also on hand was Rochelle R. Hendricks, former New Jersey Secretary of Higher Education, who was a leading force in the Network’s creation five years ago.
