For more than 50 years, Dr. Bertino has contributed his expertise toward establishing the foundation of modern cancer research and devoted his life to improving therapies for cancer and hematologic disorders. Prior to his current positions, Dr. Bertino served at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Institute for Cancer Research and the Yale Comprehensive Cancer Center. Dr. Bertino — who has been continuously funded by the National Cancer Institute for more than four decades — is the author, co-author and editor of more than 400 scientific publications and journals.
